At the beginning of 1977, the female vocal chorus was replaced by a high semi-muted violin version of the theme melody. The song was accompanied by a visual of flowers and tree branches. The original version had a wordless vocal chorus by a female voice over a recurrent harp figure. The meaning of the french title meant “harping on the same tune”. On November 5, 1975, a new theme song by Charles Paul debuted that was titled “Ritournelle”. ‘Guiding Light’ also followed the popular trend. Between 1973 to 1976, several other soap operas incorporated easy listening pop ballad theme songs.
